My mission is to bring joy & encouragement 

to people through music. 

As a professional singer & entertainer, I keep my performances upbeat, energetic and interactive.

 

My repertoire consists of a wide variety of hits from the around the 40s through the 90's including Motown, the great American Standards,  Rock 'n Roll, fun dance music, and if requested, even a few Broadway favorites.  Monitoring closely my audiences reaction to music selections during a performance, I can continue with the variety, or quickly adjust my set to the music genre of their preference.  I bring my own state of the art portable sound system with a wireless mic and enjoy dancing around, interacting and encouraging audience participation.  

 

Each year, I have booked around 300 performances at active adult communities, independent and assisted living facilities, private parties, skilled nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and Adult Day Centers, including Springpoint, Arbor Terrace, Atrium, Brandywine, Brookdale, Care One, Chelsea, Hackensack Meridian and Sunrise Senior Living communities among many others.  In addition, I lead the worship music with a band in local churches and outreaches, and have created my own worship CD "Proclaim That Name!  Hymns Afresh."  For more information, please visit www.marybethdiangelo.com

 

My passion to share music with senior communities was sparked by the passing of my father who suffered his final years with dementia.  My Dad was the ultimate entertainer as well as a lover of people.  Having a background in musical theatre inspired by my parents, I have performed leading roles professionally for many years in front of thousands of people in places such as the Paper Mill Playhouse, the PNC Bank Arts Center and the Westbury Music Fair.  The first time I was on the stage was at 2 weeks old and have been performing ever since! 

 

Ultimately, I am grateful to God for the direction He has given my life, the success He has given my business, and the many wonderful people I have met touring. I have been inspired and blessed by their kind words, warm hugs and hardy handshakes. I will never forget all their smiling faces during my shows.
